The orange car certainly made a late move, but the white car tried to close the door on him after the moment. White should have been watching the mirrors, or been more aware. IMO.

To be fair, the white left plenty of room on the apex. The white car was in-front and didn't have any obligation to jump out of the way.

That was a divebomb by the orange car. He wasn't making that corner at that angle without making contact. The responsibility to prevent contact lies more with the passer than the passee.

The Lotus was committed to the proper line and was turning while the orange car was taking an extremely shallow line in the blindspot of the Lotus.

Where? The white car was on the rumble strips, the orange car couldn't have gone much further to the right. I think this was one of those racing deals. I can see how people would blame the orange car, but I think the white one deserves some blame.

The more I watch the more I agree, that was probably way too late of a move by the orange car. I still think a bit more awareness from the white car to give the orange car room and it would have been a cracker of a move. Then again that is the plight of a late move like that. When it goes right you look like a champ. When it goes wrong, you are a chump!
